Monopolowa Vienna dry gin is distilled from potatoes (unlike most other gins made from a grain mash) and a special, secret recipe that includes juniper, orange, lemon, coriander, aniseed, fennel, and ginger. The name “monopolowa” is actually translated from Polish as the term for “monopoly” referencing the exclusive production rights granted by the government.
